The Darwin Press publishes books in fields of biology and the natural sciences, the Middle East and Central Asia, World Business, scientific monographs, and related paperbacks and texts. Many of our authors are leaders in their field of scholarly and technical expertise.

 

The Darwin Press was incorporated in 1970. The name Darwin, as in Darwin® Books, is a registered trademark of the Darwin Press. We have published more than a hundred titles, many of which have been reprinted numerous times and are still in print; several are recognized as landmark books in their respective fields.

    Historical Dimensions of Islam - This Festschrift consists of twelve chapters first delivered as papers forming the foundations of these chapters at a special conference in honor of Professor R. Stephen Humphreys, which took place in October 2007 at the College of St. Benedict, St. Joseph, Minnesota.
